SII Awarded DHS Security Customs and Border Technology Service Desk Contract

August 31, 2012 – Landover, MD – Systems Integration, Inc. (SII) is pleased to announce that it received a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) number HSBP1012A00062 and initial Task Order HSBP1012F00326 to provide Technology Service Desk (TSD) Support from the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Information Technology (OIT). The fixed price performance-based contract is for a one-year base period with two one-year option periods for a possible total period of performance of three years.

The scope of the contract is to provide Technology Service Desk (TSD) operations 24 hours/day and 365 days/year. “SII looks forward to providing customer-focused technology service support that includes incident/service request detection and recording, classification, investigation and diagnosis, resolution and recovery, closure, incident monitoring, tracking and communication for over 200 CBP systems of data and communications,” said Company President Eric Fukuchi. “We use our years of experience, continuous process improvement strategies and industry best practice solutions in setting up, staffing and operating our Service Desks with courteous, well informed professionals. Bringing this experience and best business practices will ensure a successful DHS CBP TSD solution.”
